The F Sport also features exclusive interior and exterior components such as an F Sport-specific grille and front bumper, and leather sports seats. World-leading Technologies The new Advanced Pre-collision System (APCS) with collision avoidance assist is among the most advanced automotive safety systems in the world, using a combination of millimeter-wave radar, a stereo camera, and a near-infrared ray emitter to avoid or mitigate collisions with both vehicles and pedestrians, day or night. The newly developed Adaptive High-beam System (AHS) uses a camera to detect preceding and on-coming vehicles and selectively blocks sections of the high beams that could interfere with other drivers' vision, thereby ensuring high forward nighttime visibility for the driver without blinding the drivers of other cars. The Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) system uses millimeter-wave radar to detect vehicles traveling alongside and notifies the driver when a vehicle enters his or her blind spot.
